Black History Month: Saluting our Sisters

To mark Black History Month, we are holding a competition linked to this year's theme 'Saluting our Sisters'.  There will be one prize per class which will be presented in Friday's Celebration Assembly - we can't wait to see your entries which will be displayed in our academy once completed.  Good luck!

Ingleborough Parent Meeting

We will be holding a parent meeting for everyone going on the Year 6 residential.  This will take place on Thursday 19th October at 3:15pm and also at 5pm.  It will be a chance to see the types of activities your children will be taking part in and will give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have.

Parents' Evenings 21st and 22nd November

Our Autumn term Parent's Evenings will take place on Tuesday 21st November 3:15-4:30pm and Wednesday 22nd November 3:15-6pm.  Letters will be sent out closer to the date so you can sign up for an appointment time.  The PTA will be holding their Clothing Sale in the main hall and refreshments will be available.

Half Term

We break up from school Friday 20th October, so we have only one more week at school.  We return on Monday 30th October ready for the second half of our autumn term.  Curriculum bubbles will be sent out, so you can see what your children will be learning about up until Christmas.

And finally...

We hope you have a wonderful weekend and that the temperatures don't get too chilly!  Mrs Wierzbianski is going to spend the day in York on Saturday, Ms Pascoe is celebrating her birthday (Happy Birthday Ms Pascoe!!!), Mr Watson is going on an Autumn walk and Mrs Shirra is catching up with family. Whatever you decide to do this weekend, we hope you enjoy yourselves and we will see you bright and early on Monday morning where our doors will open at 8:40am ready for learning to begin at 8:45am.
