Parkland Post – 24th March
Welcome to this week’s Parkland Post, we have had a week full of sporting events with an OAA competition and a football tournament alongside our usual weekly offer of PE and the Daily Mile. Phew, I’m exhausted just writing about it!
Easter events next week
On Friday 31st March, we will be holding our Easter assembly. Classes will showcase some of the work they have been doing about Easter, we will have our local vicar visiting and we will give out prizes for the Decorate an egg or bonnet competition. You are welcome to join us at 9am when our assembly will begin – we would love to see you all there!
New staff after Easter
Following the Easter holidays, we are excited to be joined by three new members of staff:
Mrs Shirra – Assistant Head of Academy who will be focusing on English and will be teaching around our academy.
Mr Watson – Assistant Head of Academy who will have a focus on phonics and will be teaching around the academy.
Ms Flaherty – Senior Learning Mentor who will be working with families on attendance, courses to support families, she will be running parent events and lots more.
Ms Pascoe will still be with us in Y6 and as SENDCo and very much part of life at Parkland.
