Final Parkland Post of 23-24

Welcome to our final Parkland Post of the year and what a year it has been!  As Head of Academy, I am so proud of our children and everything they have achieved this year.  I'm also proud of our community and the way we have all come together to support one another during difficult times and how we have celebrated together too.  Thank you for all of your support this year and we will see you back in school on Wednesday 4th September

Nursery and Reception from September

We wanted to share some news about September with you all.  Nursery and Reception will be working as one unit which means they will have lots of adults to support their learning and development throughout the week.  Miss Carter will be around in Early Years at the end of the first day back should anyone have any questions for her.  We are very excited about the changes!

Uniform

Everyone needs to be in the correct uniform including footwear in September.  Please see the website link below for the correct items of clothing so we have a really strong start for the new academic year.

Attendance Awards

Our children had their bronze, silver and gold awards for the year.  These involved extra playtimes, ice cream and pizza and even a trip to Infinity.  Well done to everyone who took part in these treats.

School Discos

The summer discos were a HUGE success - thank you to Mr Watson who was our Entertainments Manager for the evening, thank you to our wonderful PTA for all of their preparation and organisation and to the staff who stayed and helped out.  Our children had the best time and lots of happy memories were created.

And finally...

Everyone at Co-op Academy Parkland would like to wish you a happy summer holiday, we hope that you enjoy the sunny weather.  Mr Watson is going to Greece, Mrs Shirra is going to France to see family, Ms Pascoe is going to Mexico and Mrs Wierzbianski is going on a cruise with her family.  Whatever you decide to do, we hope you have an amazing time.
