Hello from Mrs Wierzbianski
I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with you all! Watch my video or continue reading.
’m thrilled to be able to share with you the news that I have recently been appointed as Head of Academy at Co-op Academy Parkland after being interviewed yesterday for the post.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Miss Connors for her leadership over the last few years and wish her luck for her future ventures.
I am excited to be able to lead Parkland and will be working on improving our academy so it is a place where you feel happy, confident and proud to send your children. I have worked at Co-op Academy Parkland for four years and have been a teacher for almost 21 years (which I know is a very long time!) and am passionate about reading, my family and walking our school dog Jet.
You can speak to me on the school gate every morning and afternoon where I stand with Mrs Murgatroyd and at parent forums and family breakfasts.
I can’t wait to work with our Executive Headteacher Jack Sowter who will be with us for a day a week adding to our leadership capacity and supporting us on our journey ahead.
I am very pleased to share with you the news that Mrs Wierzbianski, currently our Acting Headteacher, has been appointed as Head of Academy and will take up the position immediately after the half-term holiday.
I am sure you will join with my colleagues on the Academy’s Governing Council and me in congratulating Mrs Wierzbianski on her appointment.
With Best Wishes,
IAN FEATHERSTONE
VICE-CHAIR OF THE ACADEMY GOVERNING COUNCIL
I hope you enjoy the half-term holidays and I will see you bright and early on Monday 6th June for our final half term.
Mrs Charlotte Wierzbianski
